Mama-to-Be Mornings: Brooklyn, NY

Last week Ergobaby had the pleasure of traveling to Brooklyn, NY to put on a Mama-to-Be Morning for expectant and new parents, celebrating the launch of our new Adapt baby carrier along with BabyList. It was such a great afternoon filled with a delicious and nourishing lunch, community building, and an inspiring and informative panel.

The event took place at 501 Union in Brooklyn, and it was a beautiful spot to host the luncheon. Upon walking into the space parents were greeted at the door, and then once entering attendees were able to discover all of the amazing vendor tables. These were all brands that cater to baby’s first year and beyond, and parents had a great time exploring all of them. From Childhoods Clothing to Natti Natti organic bedding to Dockatot to Little Sapling, there was something for everyone.  And of course Ergobaby had a table set up, to assist parents in babywearing. The Adapt carrier was a huge hit, and parents loved the ease of using it from birth through toddlerhood!

An hour into the event our panelists took the stage and gave a wonderful talk about pregnancy and the post-partum shift. We’ll share more about the panel later this week, but it was an inspiring 30 minutes full of info and a great q&a. The day flew by as mamas met new friends and reconnected with old, and the icing on the cake was the fantastic gift bag full of items for baby and parent alike. You can see a photo of the bag (tote from Savage Seeds) below!

And as a great bonus, with every ticket sold, a carrier was donated to the Good+ Foundation.

Below are some of the amazing photos Morgan Pansing snapped throughout the day- enjoy!
