Spotlight: Baby Logic

From the coast to the mountain ranges, we’ve got you covered if you need babywearing help.  We’re visiting our friend Baby Logic in Bozeman, Montana to learn a bit more about their store.  Learn the latest and join their community.

WHERE DO YOU DRAW DAILY INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION FROM?

Having two children, and a baby on the way, that alone is enough inspiration for me.  It is so fun to see customers come into the store to shop and meet all of the parents that are so excited for such an incredible and life changing experience.  Being alongside my wife for three pregnancies already helps me appreciate everything that moms and dads go through, and it motivates me to help people and provide the best gear and support to every customer at the store.

IF YOU Didn’t own A RETAIL SHOP, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

I am an entrepreneur at heart, and I love being in the field of helping people. I am a Board Certified Chiropractor and own a chiropractic clinic that my wife and I both practice at. I treat pregnant women and new moms daily, and I especially love just talking to new moms and dads and helping them understand the beauty of having a baby and family.  We also have a “daddy blog” in the works to help the dads that come into the clinic or store with the “deer in the headlights” look indicating that they are going to be a dad soon!

WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION TO BEGIN YOUR BUSINESS AND OPEN YOUR STORE?

With Baby Logic, we had already been in retail before, but my wife and I felt that retail stores are lacking in one aspect that was incredibly important…education.  People in the baby world love coming to a retail store as they can look, touch, and feel the gear or item that they are looking to buy and make sure it is the quality that they are looking for. But when they have questions about having a baby, they don’t always know who to turn to….  They can choose to talk to their parents, but chances are they don’t have the first clue of what new technology is out in car seats and haven’t an idea on what is best for the baby. Then there are friends that have kids already which can be very helpful, but they may be going through the learning stage themselves and maybe don’t always have the best advice.  Most commonly now, people try and find answers online, but the problem there is who do you trust and who do you listen to with every mom blogger coming up with different advice. Having the knowledge of owning a baby store and testing all of the gear as well as having a wife who is a Pediatric Chiropractor and Child Passenger Safety Technician, I feel that we would have an understanding and knowledge of most people and can be very trusted.

WHAT IS A WAY THAT YOUR STORE GIVES BACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY?

At Baby Logic, we give back by donating multiple baby products and our time to various local shelters and organizations such as domestic abuse shelters, local fundraisers, fun runs, car seat check-up events, etc. We also provide free, educational classes to answer the most common parenting questions and give parents peace of mind when embarking on the journey of parenthood. We love being able to participate in local events and show our community support!

IF YOU COULD DESIGN AN ERGOBABY CARRIER TO SELL IN YOUR STORE, WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE?

It would be a performance Ergobaby 360 4-position Carrier in Navy with mint accents to represent our Baby Logic store colors. We live in a very active community and so the performance carrier would provide families with the added comfort while setting out on adventures.

WHY DO YOU HAVE ERGOBABY IN YOUR STORE?

We carry Ergobaby Carriers in our store for multiple reasons. We love that Ergobaby is a trusted, reliable brand that continuously puts out high quality, ergonomic baby products. The customer feedback has also been great and parents love how easy-to-use the carriers are, and how easily they transition between wearers of different shapes and sizes. As a retailer, providing our customers with product options is key and the Ergobaby line does just that. There is truly something for every family’s needs, lifestyles, and budget.
