Everlove x The Swoondle Society

We’re excited to announce we’ve partnered with The Swoondle Society, an online member marketplace modernizing the secondhand clothing industry, to make reselling baby carriers even easier. Our carriers are built to last, far longer than most families will need them (even after multiple kids!). In an effort to move towards a more circular economy, We launched Everlove, almost exactly one year ago, to move towards a more circular economy. A program for buying back, inspecting, repairing, deep cleaning and reselling quality Ergobaby carriers. In an effort to help time-strapped parents, we partnered with The Swoondle Society to make sending back pre-loved carriers easier, more accessible and more valuable.

The Swoondle Society was built on the mission to simplify the process, with an easy, hassle-free marketplace where parents could trade their children’s clothing. In 2020 alone, The Swoondle Society kept over 100,000 items in circulation. They donated over 30,000 pieces to Room to Grow and recycled 4.6 tons of clothing. The Swoondle Society has made the process of sending back clothing and accessories easy for parents, and there is a huge opportunity in the partnership with Ergobaby to keep carriers in use. Now when parents send their child’s outgrown clothing back to Swoondle, they can also include their Ergobaby carrier as well. In exchange for the Ergobaby carrier the parents will receive a credit toward purchasing clothing and accessories, or towards monthly membership to The Swoondle Society.

Carriers received by The Swoondle Society are then sent back to Ergobaby where they are inspected, repaired, receive a deep cleaning and are then sold as certified preloved carriers though the Everlove by Ergobaby program. This provides the opportunity for another family to purchase a genuine, certified Ergobaby carrier, and creates a circular economy for the carriers, benefiting the planet.

Starting February 4, 2021, The Swoondle Society will begin accepting carriers through their regular buyback program. Pre-loved Ergobaby carriers that have been inspected, cleaned and repaired by Ergobaby are currently available for purchase here.
