  1. How do I fix a broken buckle?
    If you have broken a buckle, please do not use your carrier in its current condition because it cannot be used properly. We do currently have a complimentary service to send you a buckle after it is determined that your carrier will be compatible with the buckle replacements that we have available, however, we only carry male replacement buckles (buckles with prongs) and do not carry female buckles or actual chest straps, as these are not replaceable. Please contact customer care so we can assist you.
  2. My carrier is defective. What do I do?
    Ergobaby warrants its products against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Please contact customer care for further assistance.
  3. How long is your warranty?
    The duration of our warranty differs based on product category.   4. What products does the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee cover?
    Baby carriers, hip seats, and wraps.
  5. What does the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee mean by lifetime?
    “Lifetime” does not mean your lifetime. Rather, “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product and its component materials. While we strive to use exceptional materials in our products, all materials wear out and deteriorate over time with use and exposure to natural elements, and a product’s lifetime is based on its usage in accordance with its instructions, how well it is cared for and how old the product is.
  6. What type of defect is covered by ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee?
    This guarantee covers manufacturing defects on baby carries, wraps, and hip seats. A manufacturing defect exists if the product departs from its intended design. Defective materials (buckles, straps, fabrics, etc.) or workmanship (stitching, seams, construction, etc.) are covered.
  7. My carrier was given as a gift; is it covered by ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee?
    Carriers, wraps, and hip seats given as gifts are eligible for this warranty. The gift recipient must be able to demonstrate that it was purchased from an authorized Ergobaby seller. They also must be able to return product along with proof of purchase for an evaluation.
  8. I received my carrier second hand; is it covered by ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee?
    Carriers, wraps, and hip seats eligible for this warranty are covered only as to the original owner, product must be purchased from an authorized Ergobaby seller, and must be returned to Ergobaby along with proof of purchase for an evaluation.
  9. Does the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee cover carriers and wraps purchased in the past?
    It applies to carriers, wraps and hip seats manufactured in 2017 and after.
  10. Under the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee will you fix or replace my carrier or wrap?
    Ergobaby will provide a replacement part or replacement product at its discretion for any manufacturing defect. Fixing a product or providing a refund are not remedies covered by this guarantee.
