We cherish our children and devote ourselves to serving their best interests in their health, happiness and development. When they are babies, we hold them close to our hearts to nurture our bond with them. In their maturation they insist on freedom and we gradually let them go to foster their independence. We give them the best guidance we know so they may make the best choices along the pathway of life. Our choices decide the quality of life for generations to come. Our Universal circumstances are now pressuring us as a collective society to choose between health and sustainability or toxins and conventional agriculture

Dear ERGObaby, I am a prenatal chiropractor in Los Angeles who you sent a Heart to Heart insert and ERGObaby carrier to. I am so very excited about your new insert and so excited to tell you about all of the success I've had in spreading the word about your awesome products! Regarding the new insert, I cannot say enough good things about it! The spinal support that it provides to newborns/infants is superb, with the focus being on the sacrum, pelvis and even hips where they need it the most. I really appreciate that baby can be snugly supported against the parent so as mom or dad is moving around the baby's neck and spine are comfortably held in place - no flopping like with other carriers, and even so much better than the old insert. Another feature that is so very important for developing infants is that they can be placed into the carrier in their natural "frog legged" posture until their hips are ready to spread on their own. I am frequently applauding new parents for

May 8, 2009, ERGObaby Founder and Designer Karin Frost was featured in a live interview on the radio show "Natural Pregnancy, Birth & Parenting" with Reverend Zoe Weston. Ms. Frost talked briefly about the history and culture of baby carrying, then listed some of the ways babies benefit from babywearing - they cry less often and for shorter periods of time, often become more independent and secure, they remain calmer, they are more in tune with parents, and they enjoy heightened social skills. Frost also discussed Jean Liedloff's Continuum Concept, which served as her inspiration in designing the ERGObaby Carrier, and the more recent Attachment Parenting movement. ...I once told a group of environmental activists, "You can save a forest today, but if we don't raise children consciously, it will be cut down tomorrow." From this perspective we see that the well being of children sits at the root of every endeavour. With out happy, healthy children, we have no forest, no peace, and no world.
A powerful body of research grounded in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, biology and genetics points us towards the importance of the early years and how bonding, or the lack of it, dictates a child's sense of his relationship to the world and himself. We as parents literally have in our hands, the ability to create a violent culture or a peaceful one.
