We love babywearing Dads over here at Ergobaby. We have received some amazing photos of Adventure Dads from you on our Facebook page: Dads picking strawberries, Dads hiking, Dads walking 5Ks, Dads pushing the kids on the swings, Dads at the Zoo, multi-tasking Dads, Dads carrying multiples, Dads walking the dogs, Dads BBQ'ing…all while wearing their babies! Dad never ceases to amaze! Doesn’t Dad need his own baby carrier? Doesn’t Dad deserve it? We think so! We want to support Dad in all his adventures in babywearing.
We will select one winner and send him a new Xtra Carrier - Black! This carrier will not be available until July and it will be exclusive to REI.com! So get ready to enjoy the outdoors with your #AdventureDad this Summer!

If you decide to vacation at Walt Disney World or Disneyland with baby in tow, rest assured that Disney does a phenomenal job of making even the smallest guests feel welcome. Here are my top 10 tips to help ensure that you and your little one make magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth.
1. Make use of the Baby Care Centers
Disney offers baby care centers in all 4 theme parks at Disney World and in both theme parks at Disneyland Resort.
Open during regular park hours, each facility is complimentary to use and includes a private nursing room with rocking chairs, changing room with tables, feeding area with highchairs, plus a mini kitchen with microwave. Some even offer "miniature" toilets and sinks.
There is also a little room with a TV, some picture books, and kid-sized chairs. A nice place to unwind or get cool for a few minutes.
Baby food, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications, and clothing are also available for purchase.
Here are the locations of the Baby Care

I love this time of year, don't you? Everything is coming back to life after the cold dormancy of winter. It's like someone turned on the lights with all the vibrant color returning to the earth. One of the places that color returns to is our plates! We once again have all sorts of beautiful and delicious in season produce to choose from again. The tastiest and freshest produce comes from our own backyard, both figuratively and literally. So strap on your Ergo and take the kids out to find some local, flavorful fruits and vegetables. Below are eight ways to find produce grown locally.
Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture, also known as a CSA, is a wonderful opportunity to get to know some of your local farmers while sharing in their locally grown goodness. I decided to join a CSA one year and really enjoyed it. The way most of them work is you pay up front for a share of what the farm produces and receive weekly offerings of the fruits and vegetables they've grown.

Creator of the hugely popular Girl’s Gone Child blog, mom of four (son Archer, 7, daughter Fable, 3, and twin girls Boheme and Reverie, 1), published author—yup, Rebecca Woolf pretty much epitomizes inspiring. And after having breakfast with her one recent morning in L.A., I’m adding “thoughtful,” “wise,” and “hilarious” to the list.
What inspired Girl’s Gone Child (GGC)?
I was 23 when Archer was born. I didn’t have any friends who had kids, no mom groups. I had no way to process the parenting experience other than writing about it. And people slowly started reading. I honestly feel like I really got lucky. There were, like, 10 bloggers that I knew of writing about this stuff at the time (2005), and we were all doing it because we loved it and had something to say or ask. And then over time we recognized that we could have ads and a book deal and all these other things, which was amazing because at the time I was working four jobs.
Finally earning money from GGC must have felt

With spring springing up all around us I'm itching to take my kids out to explore the city. The cherry blossoms blooming, the fountains spouting water after a dormant winter, and the sunshine streaming down are beckoning to us after months of being mostly indoors.
In order to tackle our beloved concrete jungle here is what I'll need:
Ergobaby Carrier: Navigating busy streets, public transportation, and small cafes is no place for a stroller. Keeping baby close, safe, and out of trouble while still looking great is possible with a great carrier
Large Bag: I like something I can sling over my shoulder that will fit diaper changing supplies, a few snacks, a water bottle and my wallet.
Sunglasses: To keep the glare away and complete the look.
Teething Necklace:

Lunchtime.Sweet baby Apple was sound asleep and my two "big" kids were eating at the table. I was sitting between them and after a few moments Ainsleigh creeped over and climbed up on my lap. She was facing towards me and grabbed my cheeks, looked me straight in the eyes and smiled....over and over again in between kisses on my cheeks.Something about the way the sun was shining behind her, something about those sweet dimples that she has.Something about the way her tiny fingers were stroking my hair and clinging to me.Something about the way she clenches on when she thinks I am about to get up.She, too, wants it to last.I desperately wanted to jump up and grab my camera but I didn't. I held her tight. Soaked it in. And am doing the best job that I can right now to repaint it as a memory.
The weather here in Texas is changing.
It nudges at my soul.
Today I was thinking.
Recently I had to take a personality test for some "work" related things. We wanted to see where we fit best on our

Now that our third baby, Franky, is eight months old, it's very clear to us which baby products we need, and which we could have avoided. Of course, every baby is different, but this list contains all of our favorite baby must-haves. We are a co-sleeping, breastfeeding, baby-lead weaning family, so you may need other necessities (like a crib and bottles- typically the two things you think of when you hear the words "baby items"). You'll also need a car seat, but that's for another post. Oh, and new parents: Dreft isn't necessary. Yes, that's it! Babies really aren't that complex. Happy parenting!Emotional Benefits of Getting Outside
Spending time in nature with your baby can strengthen the bond between you. The simple act of holding your baby close, feeling their warmth, and sharing new experiences together can create strong

Spring has Sprung! The warm weather is upon us and that means its time to get the babies in the Ergo and outside to enjoy the weather. Springtime is also when you can finally shed those big winter coats and that means you no longer have a place to hide your yoga pants and worn out t-shirts. So for me, that means it's time to find some cute clothing items to wear out and about as I enjoy the sun with my family.
This style board features the Ergobaby Organic Collection Carrier - Dark Chocolate...isn't it gorgeous? Most of the time we think of pairing brown with warm colors like red and dark oranges or other

As a doula, I often get asked if I only work with women that have postpartum depression. To the contrary, postpartum doulas have a positive effect that has been proven to reduce the incidence of postpartum depression. The word doula is usually associated with birthing women, however, there are also postpartum doulas that assist families after the birth. After having a baby, many women feel quite vulnerable and unsure of their new role as a mother. Postpartum doulas are there to emotionally support the new mother and their family. They offer a non-judgemental ear and provide a safe environment for the family to express doubt, joy, frustration and concerns about the newborn. In addition to providing emotional support, postpartum doulas will educate the new family on basic topics such as feeding, bathing and sleeping. Doulas are not health care professionals and do not give medical advice. Having a doula will help parents discover how they want to parent. Mother after mother has told me how
